Mr. Meyer joined Youman, Madeo, & Fasano, LLP as an Associate in May 2018. He brings a broad range of legal experience and his unique adversarial approach to the firm.

Mr. Meyer is well-versed in all areas of removal defense and employs a diehard commitment to providing effective advocacy for his clients both in and out of the courtroom. He has represented a vast range of clientele in both asylum and cancellation of removal proceedings across the eastern United States. He has successfully argued cases in front of the New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Cleveland Immigration Courts. Notably, in 2017, Mr. Meyer successfully represented asylum seekers based on their practice of Falun Gong in Fujian Province, China. Prior to joining Youman, Madeo, and Fasano, LLP, Mr. Mr. Meyer was the senior associate at a Manhattan immigration firm where he specialized in religious based and family planning asylum claims.

Originally from Queens, Mr. Meyer descends from a family comprised of both Polish and German immigrants. As such, he has an in depth understanding for the importance of multi-culturalism and for the plight today's immigrant faces on a day to day basis.

Mr. Meyer's professional experience draws from stints with the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Criminal Enforcement Division, the Pace Univ. Land Use Center where he served as the center's liaison to Westchester County municipal planning boards, and from his time spent practicing real-estate law in New York City.

Mr. Meyer studied political science as an undergraduate at West Chester Univ. (PA) and received a juris doctorate and a certification in environmental law from Pace Univ. School of Law in May 2015. He is licensed to practice law by the State of New York's 2nd Department and is accredited as a representative by the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

In his spare time, Mr. Meyer enjoys playing softball, bowling with friends, and has reached level 34 in Fortnite.
