Christina Xenides joined Youman, Madeo, & Fasano LLP as an associate attorney in 2011.  She is well versed in a wide variety of immigration matters, including cancellation of removal, asylum, adjustment of status, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, prosecutorial discretion, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, U-Visas, naturalization, and several waivers.  She also regularly assists in the drafting of Federal Appeals in various circuits. 

Prior to joining YMF, Ms. Xenides worked as a visiting attorney at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Cyprus field office and also completed a full-time externship during her last semester of law school at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (UNICTY), where she worked in Chambers on the Lukic v. Lukic trial.  While in law school at Seattle University School of Law, Ms. Xenides was on the Board of Directors for the Human Rights Network and was a student leader at the Access to Justice Legal Aid Clinic.  She is also a founding member and vice chair of the National Lawyers Committee on Human Rights advisory committee to the Peace Brigades International USA division.  During her university studies at Boston College, Ms. Xenides worked at Physicians for Human Rights on the Health Action AIDS campaign.

Ms. Xenides is licensed to practice law in both Massachusetts and New York.  She is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Associations, the New York Women’s Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
