H.Raymond Fasano received a warm welcome in Rome, Italy.

He spoke before a standing room only audience on the topic of Hague Convention adoptions and the citizenship implications of surrogate children born to surrogate mothers and in vitro insemination cases. The topic of the citizenship of children born in vitro in countries other than the one of the sperm or egg donor parent has not been explored with any amount of litigation. Mr. Fasano is drafting an article on this issue that will appear in a future issue of The Federal Lawyer.
