Controller

Youman, Madeo & Fasano LLP is seeking a Financial Controller with a minimum of five to seven years of working experience and an accounting degree. Must have 5- 7 years Corporate Cash flow experience. Will assume a strategic role in the overall fiscal management of the firm. The Controller will have primary accountability for Accounts payable, Payroll, General Ledger, Financial reporting, and the firm’s Annual Budget. This is a full-time position. Days and hours or work are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position requires up to 25% travel.

  • Oversees cash management, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, long range forecasting and insurance activities for the Firm
  • Manages the accounts payable bookkeeper and function
  • Manages the payroll bookkeeper and function
  • Directs and coordinates the budget process
  • Reviews and prepares general ledger and Financial Reporting duties
  • Prepares analysis on ad hoc basis as requested
  • Oversee month-end and year-end accounting closings

Requirements
Must have 5- 7 years Corporate Cash flow experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred 
Prior financial leadership role with a CPA firm or Law firm
Familiarity with managing in a large or mid-sized partnership environment helpful
Demonstrated excellence in budgeting, controlling costs and providing timely and useful reporting to the management team.

Managing Attorney

Youman, Madeo & Fasano LLP is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Immigration Managing Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of Family/Litigation Immigration experience. Working closely with clients in Family/Litigation Immigration matters, communicating with client efficiently and effectively in Spanish. Servicing firm clients through daily client consults with attention to detail. Participate in firm wide initiatives and project management. Managing paralegals, associates and overseeing client service team members. Assign cases to paralegals and client service team members. Must have 7+years of solid, high volume Family/Litigation Immigration experience.

Requirements
7 + years of experience in a high volume Family/Litigation Immigration Practice Law firm
J.D. from U.S. Law school 
Admission to a U.S. State Bar – NY preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish (Strongly Preferred)
Must have experience delegating and overseeing the work of Associate Attorney, Client Services, Managers, Sr/Jr Paralegals
Must have excellent client servicing skills
Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Assistant Office Manager

Youman, Madeo & Fasano LLP is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Immigration Assistant Office Manager for our Manhattan Law Firm. The ideal candidate for this opportunity must have Family/Litigation Immigration experience. Must have 5+ years of managerial experience.

The Assistant Office Manager will be responsible of their caseload in addition to the overall supervision of the services provided by the paralegals under their supervision. Responsible for the management and administration of the paralegal and support staff. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, as well as have the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Excel and LollyLaw is helpful.

Requirements:
Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English (Strongly Preferred).
5 + years of litigation and Family/Litigation Practice Law Firm (Strong Preferred).
5+ years of experience in a senior level capacity with an immigration Family/Litigation law firm. 
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.

Full Time Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Full Time Receptionist/Legal Assistant : All three of our offices (Manhattan, Queens, and New Jersey) are looking for Spanish/English bilingual speaking receptionists and legal assistants to join our team. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting and assisting clients, scheduling appointments, and performing general administrative and clerical support. Stellar customer service skills non-negotiable. Prior office/receptionist experience a plus.

Full Time Paralegal

All three of our offices (Manhattan, Queens, and New Jersey) are looking for Spanish/English bilingual speaking paralegals to join our team. Experienced immigration paralegals preferred but we are willing to train the right person.

Part-Time Receptionist/Legal Assistant -- Patchogue, NY Office

Our Patchogue office is looking for a part time receptionist to work on Monday 2pm-8pm, Wednesday 3pm - 9pm, and on Friday 11am-6pm. Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
